When the doctor speaks, I listen.
Yesterday I met with Dr Rodriguez. (That’s not him in the photo.) I was eager to hear results of the PSA test 6 weeks after surgery. He said the results were, “perfect.” The count was zero, and that’s what we had hoped for. It’s too early to say “cured,” but it is looking good–very good.
He asked about recovery with specific questions. After I had answered these, he said I was progressing better than average. That was also a good thing to hear. At times it seems to be going very slowly to me.
Power Outage
We lost power Sunday evening during the big storm that raged through this region on our nation. Shortly after, the emergency generator started and switched itself into action.
The power company at first estimated restoration by Thursday. Next it was Saturday. This morning they are saying Friday. At least I’m warm and only the clocks are off. (The generator runs just a bit fast.)
Had the neighbors in last night. We enjoyed a nice visit and one enjoyed a good hot shower. They also left a dozen eggs.
