She left Grand Rapids on time. The delays began at Chicago. Briana, and her fellow nursing students missed the flight to Frankfurt. Instead they were re-routed to London, which was fine with Briana. She loves London. The gals were able to take advantage of the eleven hour layover to get in some site seeing. :woot:
They arrived in Accra, Ghana a day later than planned. Now follows two weeks of study and service. They will be busy nursing students. :frolic:
I can remember long layovers, missed and cancelled flights. Forgive me for saying so, but I really don’t miss those. Not even a little bit. :laff:
We haven’t seen Miss B for a while. She doesn’t look so happy at the changing plans in that picture!
Most of that was “put on” for the camera.
It’s all part of the experience…and they are young and will make fun out of it regardless. 🙂 Wishing her a FABULOUS trip!
Word! Thanks. :tiphat:
We had a flight cancelled in Paris due to a strike. That wasn’t fun.
We didn’t get any cool layovers either, we just had to stand in line for hours at the airport waiting to get reassigned.
Wishing your granddaughter a happy, productive visit full of lots of good learning experiences! :woot:
It’s all part of travel, isn’t it, Rosey? A hurricane changed our plans in Puerto Rico. The main reason for the trip, a conference, was cancelled. However, we did get to do a lot of fun things.
Thanks for the good wishes. :tiphat:
Blessings on Briana as she serves and learns.
Thanks Verla! We are very pleased with her and the choices she has made. :tiphat:
