Spring Begins
Winter bows to spring,
Grass changes from brown to green,
Earth begins to warm.
Grass changes from brown to green,
Earth begins to warm.
Spring Develops
Slowly days lengthen,
Warm gentle rain falls down,
Earth awakes to life.
…and then it snows! But because it’s spring, the snow is melting fast.
Beautiful, Chuck. What kind of flowers are those that are popping up?

When the croci bloom
in Michigan spring indeed
can’t be far behind
Lin,
Spring is coming, but today it is snowing in Michigan. The forecast (remember, it is subject to change) for your game on Easter calls for a high of 50 F. I’d prefer coffee to go with my bratwurst and don’t spare the spicy mustard and onions. Yum yum!
Yeokeehui,
You are so right my friend. The wonder of God’s creation surrounds us at all times. I love my rural home where there are fewer human-made distractions.

Nature is filled with life, 24 hours a day, throughout the year. The beauty of nature is when it starts to speak to us personally. It’s all so fulfilling.
Oh, Chuck, please tell me Spring is coming. Please. It snowed here, Opening Day for White Sox baseball was delayed, and I have tickets for Easter Sunday. I don’t want to wear a winter coat and gloves to a baseball game–it’s hard to hold a beer and a bratwurst when you have gloves on. Sigh.
