3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.

as a father the son he delights in.
True wisdom realizes how much it doesn’t know. How much it fails to grasp and understand. Solomon speaks about this shortcoming and gives the remedy.
In Chapter 26, he says this:
12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him..
There is more hope for a fool than for him..
