Where’s My Female Staff?

This is Nellie giving me the “Okay, what did you do with her look?”  Sylvia is with her dad this week and kitty started missing her in less than 24 hours.

If the forecasters are right, I won’t have to water the garden this week.  Or next.  Just before 11 AM, our mail carrier, Sally, delivered our mail.  I took a look at the weather radar loop and then headed for the door.  More rain is coming this afternoon.

This week will feature mostly indoor activities.  However, I’m hoping to do some outside stuff too.  I need that.  Don’t you?

  1. We were heading into a long stretch where all the rain when around us, but we good some good rain yesterday, and a little today.

  2. Aw, Nellie is sure a beauty. It’s cute how she misses Sylvia. 🙂

The rain has been nice for the yard to recover from last year’s drought. That said…the shed has been waiting since April to be painted. Now it shall wait until Fall when the plants around it are cut back. Sigh. I think Joe had an arrangement with Mother Nature on that project.

  3. Awww, that’s nice that she’s so attached to Sylvia. 🙂

Our thunder just started, and we don’t have a surge protector hooked up so I’d better get off of this thing. :rain:

    • We had very heavy rain early this afternoon. This evening the online radar loop shows it all centered down your way. And there’s lots of it.
