I see ants on the peonies too. Never noticed them on the yucca, but mine only blooms every few years.
This is a beautiful shot of nature. I do not mind them enjoying and partaking of plants. I am a bit unhappy about ants using my washline as a tightrope passageway. 😐
I usually see tons of ants on Peonies and at first, I thought this was a lily in the photo but now I’m not so sure..
Right. Although ants don’t bother me much around the mailbox. What I don’t like is those flying critters that sting. 😯

Thanks. I understand that thought Laura. 8)
Neat shot, Chuck – glad to see you around again! Have a great week 🙂
Thanks Erika. It is nice to cross paths once more. 8)

These are yucca plants Heather. The ants love these–just like they do the peonies. :awe:
Well, that’s not something I’ve seen. Usually the ants are on the ground! Great capture!
I see them on peony blossoms and on this plant. (I can’t remember the name of it. 😳 )
As long as they aren’t in my mailbox.

The bees are not going to be happy about that… 🙂
They ants were going for sap. The bees will wait for pollen. Both will be happy. 😀
