Flashback Friday is hosted by Camille. (Click on the badge to visit her blog, which is the home of Flashback Friday.) Won’t you consider joining in the fun?
Today, my flashback involves Midnight, the cat we used to care for. I sure do miss him and his kittenish ways. Nellie is a huge contrast. Much more sedate, and as a consequence, less fun and entertainment.
My little buddy was full of antics–a real fun-loving guy.
Aw. His story was special. Wish I had met him.
He is cute and looks like a fun kitty! I wish I could have cats, but alas, I am allergic. 🙁
In Nellie’s defense, she came to you as an adult kitty, one who has lived a whole other life–one we have no idea of. It could have been good, could have been bad…either way, she was uprooted and I’m sure it was unsettling for her. Midnight….well, he was a kitten and full of wackiness, which is always fun. It’s just sad that you didn’t get to see him into the “boring” phase of kittyhood. 🙁
He was a great guy. It’s very sad to remember that he lived such a short time. But the time you gave him in the house and on your lap was heaven to him, I’m sure.
Miss ya, Midnight!
I don’t think Nellie needs defending. She is a very positive addition to our household. It has been five months since she came to live with us. I’m glad she did. She needed a tranquil home where she would find nothing but love from patient people.
Midnight was a super guy and my little buddy. Nellie prefers Sylvia’s company, which is okay with me.
My grandma had a Lab named Midnight. They shared the same color. Bet you wouldn’t have guessed that, hehehe
The Midnight you used to care for was a little cutie! Happy Friday to you!
A Lab named Midnight that wasn’t black? That would be funny.
Yes, he was and real sweetheart too. He got his name because it was shorter than “That black kitten that lives in the barn.” :ha:
