That’s how busy we’ve been. Or at least it seems that way. The big project on Friday was repairing the lawn after winter snow removal. Front end loaders work well for moving snow. Unfortunately, they also work well for scooping and moving sod. Fortunately, the front end loader also works to move the sod back in place. With a lot of help from Sylvia, we replaced and repaired the divots.
We also cleared some brush at the edge of the lawn. Last year it had grown out and over the beautiful open space. Once again the front end loader did its job well.
That left me feeling sore. Not because I worked so hard, but I seem to be coming down with a cold. Medicated chest rub applied to chest and the soles of my feet seem to be helping. Applying it to the bottom of your feet is something that folks in this neighborhood for years. It works surprisingly well.
Today, I helped Lin with a graphics problem on her fine blog. We found a solution to the problem and our pally is dancing for joy.
Later, I modified the template for this blog to reflect the change in seasons. I also wanted to get away from that orange color. I hope you like the new look.
WOW. That sounds like a ton of work. And it's hard to be so active after a winter of relaxing! I know I'm pooped these days–the longer days are KILLING me!
I like your new look. I'm gonna have to ask you how you got the tabs on the top. I'd like to do that too.
I like putting the awards on a separate page. I might do that.
Looking good!
We rub the stuff on the soles of the feet, too. Just call it "vicks" though. I know, brand name. But much shorter than "medicated chest rub." If it's generic, so what? You call facial tissues "kleenex," don't you?
Be well!
Nice color/season change. I'm not ready for spring cleaning or yardwork. I figure we have a good 2 weeks yet before warm weather is consistent.
Sorry to hear you're sore. You take care, you hear? I've never heard of applying chest rub on the feet. Good tip!
