Happiness is hearing nothing but good words at your annual physical exam.
My doctor said, “You are in pretty good shape for a 62-year-old man.” I thanked him. Then he looked at the chart (actually computer) again. “Oh, you’re 75.” I smiled.
Now if my dentist was that kind to me . . . But then, it’s not his fault.
You can’t possibly be 75!
Sorry. :whaa: I did the math three times and always came up with the same answer. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Who cares how old he thinks you are…as long as he says your health is good…that’s all we care about! 😉
Glad you had good news.
l did learn that I don’t drink enough . . . water that is. :laff:
Now there is a doctor with classy bed-side manner. Striking resemblance, too, to Mr. T.
That is not my doctor. It is Mr T. He does make an impressive appearance, doesn’t he?
Yes, I recognized him. Sometimes when sleep hasn’t overtaken me I watch a midnite rerun of “The A Team.” Actually often more fun than the glitzy high-tech productions of today. Example: Murdoch drives an auto through the wall of a building, glass and stone flying everywhere, car comes to rest in the lobby, not a scratch on it. Good times.
I used to love the A Team. For the same reasons that you do.
Also, I still prefer the b & w movies from the 40s and 50s. The good ones relied on the a coherent story and good acting.
Okay I also love the New Zealand scenery from Peter Jackson and company’s Hobbit and Lord of the Rings epics.
Documentaries on the cosmos with modern images have shown us a mind blowing picture of the universe. Love the pictures from Hubble and the other photographic missions like Cassini. It’s an exciting time. We’ll talk more later.
I think the “A” on the ID badge is for the A-team. 😀
This short story about a doctor not knowing the age of his patient made me think a little about the medical profession as it stands today. Are there too few doctors to meet the needs of our citizens? What can we do about it?
I think he only misspoke himself, Grace. I don’t have answers for your questions. Sorry. :dontknow:
Great news! Wish I could make someone think my age is 62.
It did make me feel good. If only for a moment.
