Thanks stopping by and linking up. Beautiful deer. We have some that come in our back yard. I love getting to see them. 🙂
This is one of a pair of twins that we have watched since they were wee ones. Mom was still around until a month or two ago. Now it is just the two of them. We enjoy watching them too.
My cousin! My cousin! Maaaa hi for me, will you?
Okay. Will do. 🙂
I warily say that she (?) is pretty. The minute I “like” some creature out in the wild, they do something that reminds me how wild they truly are….and then I don’t like them as much. You know, I used to think the raccoons were cute too. 🙂
I don’t know about cute, but properly prepared and cooked raccoons are very tasty and delicious. :food:
I’ve wanted to put apples out to feed them but thought the neighbors might not be too happy w/me, so I haven’t…this is a good picture.
I understand. I don’t feed wildlife. In this agricultural community there is plenty for them without my involvement. :2c:
That’s what I tell myself too. There must be or they wouldn’t be around so much. I get in enough trouble feeding the birds…boy do they make a mess sometimes (digging in my planter for spilled seeds). Little man likes to watch them through the window though…so that’s worth cleaning up after the little buggers.
Happy Thursday and first of November, oh how the year is flying by!
We used to feed birds, but quit when the feeder broke. It was placed away from the house where we could see it. I didn’t like wading through the snow to do refills. 🙁
And a happy All Saints Day to you too.
She looks tired! Or is it just me?
Can’t say for sure, but I doubt that she’s tired. 🙂
They are getting awfully bold! I found them on my lawn by the pole barn the other night. Then they remembered that I have dogs!
I’ve been surprised by that boldness, which they have exhibited this year. :oh:
Great catch! Glad I can comment again.
Thanks Shark! I’m glad you can too. :yea:
