Yes it is that beautiful. This photo was posted in the local paper and was taken by pilot, Margaret Wint. This is Sessions Lake in the Ionia State Recreation Area.

A polarizing filter on the camera would have been a big help. At least, I think it would be a big help. :think: I’m not aware of any dam near Sessions Lake.
That is a great picture- one can always tell the lakes made by dams- all those odd bays and crenellations.
