My 11th grade son is studying astronomy this year with a creationist viewpoint. It is a fantastic study. The more we learn of the heavens the more we understand why God told Abraham to look up at the stars – there are literally more than we could ever count, more than the grains of sand, as the Bible says. Our galaxy is only one out of so many more.
Vanilla, Thanks.
Lin, Orion is only second to the Big Dipper in our familiarity with the constellations.
I love to spot Orion's belt on a cold clear winter's night. We used to point it out to the kids when they were little and then Em would scream out "There's Ryan's belt!". Nice haiku to go with the photo, pally.
Oh, I like your poem!
