How do you feel when you look in a mirror? Some people hate the experience. Others can’t seem to get enough
Whatever your relationship to the mirror, there are two facts that you should know about the mirror. These two facts are marks of a faithful friend. What are they?
1. The mirror will not lie to you.
2. The mirror will not laugh at you.
Do you have another friend that will do that for you?
I think I need a mirror that laughs at me (with love!)
Sorry friend. That’s not the mirror’s function, nor is it in its nature. You need human friends. We’ll laugh at you (or with you) and that with love.
I do have three friends like that, all that have been in my life for many years. I’ve always loved them, but the older I get the more I appreciate them too. 🙂
You are especially blessed to have three friends like that. They obviously are very special folk.
It may not lie to you, but it can deceive depending on the angle and the lighting. Don’t ask me how I know that.
I won’t ask. That is the kind of question that a gentleman would never ask a lady. And, in your words, “Don’t ask me how I know that.” 8)
I never paid too much attention to what I see in the mirror. I never give much thought to what I look like for some reason. I always seem to find out about two months too late that I need a hair cut.
Because I keep my [sparse] hair clipped short, I can tell when I’m due for another clip job. It’s time to cut the hair when I start looking like a chia pet. 😀
