Angels told shepherds, most humble of folk, of the birth of the Christ child. They hurried to the stable to visit the babe.

Great!! I see the camels coming !! Still don’t have my set up…there’s still time…maybe today !! For the first time ever, our church is celebrating the arrival of the 3 kings on the 2nd Sunday instead of all at once with the shepherds !!
That’s great, Grace. Hope you enjoy the season.
This takes me back in time to the drama our church did each year when the Christmas Story was presented in segments. Even with amateur acting, the story was etched in my mind.
I never got the lead role as Mary, but was always in the choir of angels. Looking back, I think the hope was that the role might have an effect on my everyday life. Maybe it did.
Surely, your involvement changed the way you thought. That change would strongly influence you daily life. However, I’m thinking that it was only one influence among many.
Definitely, many things made an impression for good on my life.
Similar involvement helped mold my life too.
The first time I remember experiencing this story was when I watched The Little Drummer Boy when I was a very little kid. I liked the story then and I still like it now.
It has been a long since I watched The Little Drummer Boy. I’ll have to check for it on Netflix.
