Weather Warnings and Stuff

The profession prognosticators of meteorological phenomena are saying that we are in for snow. We are under a winter storm watch. Snow should start this afternoon. Tomorrow temperatures should hover near freezing and precipitation may turn to rain. It may be close. Only time will tell what develops.

I made my annual visit to my doctor yesterday. Mostly good news. I had talked with him on Sunday at a community event. I mentioned that I sould be seeing him Monday morning. He asked what I had done wrong that I needed to visit him. I told him, “I lived another year.” He laughed.

So I’m supposed to exercise more and drink more water. I should cut back on sugar and fat. So if tastes good . . . You know the drill.

Midnight is doing well. He gives us lots of laughs and has been a good boy for the last couple of days. Thanks to friends and family that have given us good tips to help us deal with our little guy. He loves chasing that ping pong ball around the tub.

  1. Chuck, I'm glad everything we well for you. Ain't it always the case, if it tastes good we should avoid it? I've been bad since Thanksgiving and probably will be through to the beginning of the year. I need my eggnog and pumpkin pie.

  2. Dawn, Me too. Winter Storm Warning runs through 7 AM on Thursday. Snowing quite a bit now, but should become a mix with rain tomorrow. High Thursday 18 deg. I'm gonna cuddle up with a warm kitten.

  3. Sharkbytes, I promise to do my best to not go there. So does that mean I'm hapful?

Lin, I think it's in the doctor's contract. We'll have to check the fine print. Midnight was banished to the basement early this evening after he broke a Christmas tree ornament and dumped the African violets into the tub. His female attendant was neither pleased nor amused . . . The training continues.

  4. I'm in the exercise more, eat less category too. Who the heck isn't???! Gees, doctors ruin everything fun. Glad Midnight is learning the ropes of being indoors. 🙂

  5. Glad you weren't hapless. Lots of food that tastes good that's good for you! We even transformed my guy into a healthy eater. It took a heart attack to do it. Don't go there.

  6. Pricilla, Me too! Well kitty isn't lowering mine yet. He still thinks that hands are made to attack — with great vigor!

  7. I think I would prefer your snow to my 14 below…

Glad your doctor's visit went well. Cats lower blood pressure you know. Heh heh
