I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

Lin, I estimate over 200 geese had gathered there in the neighbor's pasture field. They were across the road from us. I'm sure they did their part to make the grass greener over there.

They sure picked the right field to land in. It didn't end quite so well for some of the geese in the field accross from us.
