Friday morning our little guy visited the vet for his booster shots. He didn’t have much pep the rest of the day. He was either playing lazy boy in Sylvia’s LA-Z BOY chair or napping on my lap all day.
The Soft Paws (we call them “his acrylics”) are holding up well. Last week Pricilla shared in a comment that at her house they only lasted two weeks. Sylvia asked the vet about that. The vet said that she had problems with the Soft Paws manufacturer’s adhesive. It was difficult to deal with and sometimes the Soft Paws would fall off in a couple of weeks. So she tried super glue, and it works very well.
The acrylics look very interesting. I might need to try those on my cat…if she would ever let me actually put them on her. lol Check out my pet blog, My Pet Savings, http://www.mypetsavings.com

I am glad to hear there is a solution. The publicist did not like declawing Fred although it did not seem to bother Fred much. He still climbed trees and caused all manner of trouble. I hope the super glue does well, super!
Oh yes, it does! Remember "Old Toenail"? It fell off the night before I was scheduled to go to Florida for a girls weekend. Nothing like a little super glue to hold that bad boy on! We made it through the whole weekend, plus a day or two together. Sigh. Such fine memories. sniff. sniff.
i was wondering about the acrylics also. how do they work?
have a great day…hugz!
He's really cute. Do the acrylics keep his nails from retracting? Seems like that would bother him.
In the first shot, he looks like he just got caught doing something that he shouldn't have. Well, at least that's the expression I always make.
