Thursday evenings are usually a quiet time. Sylvia and I usually spend a couple of hours sitting in our easy chairs talking, reading or watching TV. Count on it — Midnight will be there with us. Sometimes he likes to play, and others he’s content to curl up next to Sylvia and rest. Last Thursday was a bit different thanks to Midnight. Let met tell you the story from his point of view.
“Hey lady, mind if I have a drink of water?” (The answer was, “Yes, I do mind.” That blur on the right is Sylvia reaching to rescue her water.)
“Okay. Let me adjust these blinds for you.”
“Here I go. A piece of cake.”
“Hey, having a little bit of trouble here. Sure wish I had thumbs like you.”
Midnight finally gave up, but I know that he’ll try again. He already has.
That's pretty cute/funny.
Oh, what we put up with for our kitties!! As I type, my left leg is completely numb because somebody (who is REALLY heavy) is in the mood for cuddling. Can't miss that!! 🙂 He is very cute, Chuck. I like his white patch on his belly.
ha ha! Helpful little guy isn't he?
Grampy, Nor do I doubt that.
Sharkbytes, We use a squirt bottle with a firm "NO" to discipline and train. He now plays with the control rod, but not the slats.
Pricilla, Love bears all . . .
Sherpa just pulled our shades completely down.
*sigh*
It's a good thing we love him
O Boy- Our V8 really wrecked all of those kinds of blinds we have. She eventually bent the slats.
Sooner or later Midnight will get it.
