But startlings are too noisy too me. :yea:
They are raucous and rowdy like teenagers on a weekend. Regular party animals. I like watching them.
That many starlings can shred a suet block very quickly– as you already know.
That suet cake is already history. It was fun while it lasted.
oooh, I like starlings! And bird feeders too.
Starlings…while plain birds…are really cool. They imitate other birds’ calls and fly in ballet-like swarms called mumurations.
Watch out for the hawks, birdies!
For two or three weeks each year, immature starlings take over our lawn as they feed on bugs and who knows what else.
Please don’t hate me, but I usually root for the hawk. They have to eat too.
There is nothing quite like feeding the birds and then enjoying watching them as different species show up and you have fun identifying them . Enjoyed seeing your pictures.
There is nothing quite like feeding the birds of any kind. I enjoyed it for many years…seeing new species surprise me, identifying them and just watching them as they came to the feeder,
