Sunday in Proverbs

Chapter 8
6 Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you.
      Everything I say is right,
7 for I speak the truth
and detest every kind of deception.
 8 My advice is wholesome.
There is nothing devious or crooked in it.
9 My words are plain to anyone with understanding,
      clear to those with knowledge.
10 Choose my instruction rather than silver,
and knowledge rather than pure gold.
11 For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.
Nothing you desire can compare with it.

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. Yes, it is all about the intent behind the words. Wisdom is a great gift if we just learn to listen to our hearts. Great post, Chuck.

  2. Very good words to go by. I've tried to be as close as I could to very similar thoughts.
