If you are a keeper of cats (aka: staff), you probably knew what this is about as soon as you saw the title. It started when Midnight came rushing into the bathroom as I was leaving. One bound and he was on top of the “throne.” A second leap and he was on the counter. The great exploration had begun.
The sink is a place of particular interest.
What? This is a neat place! And it’s damp. I like that.
I can be in this sink. I can hide in this sink. This is the place for me!
The next day he came running into the bathroom and leaping tall buildings in a single bound he was atop the vanity beside “his” sink. A few days later, he was leaping onto the [taller] kitchen counter. But that’s a story for another day.
Our cats never hung out in the sink that I can recall. They're both quite elderly so spend 90% of their day sleeping on my bed.
LOL! I can imagine when you encountered that in the morning in half unconscious state 😀
Our cat drives me crazy by sleeping in the sink. One time a child turned the faucet on, but even that hasn't deterred him.
Yes, the Cat is claiming all your territory, a counter at a time.
Not a kitty thing. A noncat person also found blogger down.
blogger down–anything like eider down? I'm silly from being blogger-deprived too long.
Rita, Good observation. We have two sons, and they left home over twenty years ago. Hope you find the reason for your problem.
Pricilla, I think it is a kitty thing. Others report similar experiences.
Sherpa loves to "hide" in the bathroom sink. Silly kitty.
Hmmm, he must have known I was typing about him 'cause he just showed up!
You can sure tell you guys don't have four boys living with you – your bathroom is so clean! Looks like the cat wants to have a bath.
I can't start a new blog post. For some reason I keep getting a "blogger is down" message. Don't know what is going on. 🙁
Hope you guys have a great Monday!
