About Chuck
I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.
Wow! A person could get lost in there!
Now I'm ready for fresh corn. Looks like a few more weeks to go.
Wow! I never realized, 10 feet tall? And I do agree on the roots, very exotic looking.
Ours isn't even waist high yet. We have had a very bad growing season so far.
Corn fields always freak me out a little. I think too many scary movies have happened in corn fields. Silly I know.
The roots on that corn plant sure look weird! Like a claw grabbing the soil.
It's so great that at least one crop is having a good year this year, since the fruit mostly got frozen.
Looks just like our neighborhood!
Isn't it crazy? We can't even see you anymore from up at the house. Did you see the news story about the child and mother who got lost in a corn field? They had to call in an Tracking K9 to find them. I wouldn't want to be lost in that!
