Last week, Briana (granddaughter), posted that having red hair, she could take on a persona that others could not portray. I waited patiently to find out the meaning of her statement. Today I found out.
Can you name the character that she assumed last Friday?
I will admit…I had no idea. She is such a beautiful girl, Chuck. Is Poison Ivy a villain? If so, she is a pretty villain!
Poison Ivy is, indeed, a villain. Briana patterned her portrayal on the 1997 Batman and Robin movie, in which Uma Thurman played Poison Ivy. The difference being that Briana did it more modestly. Check below for Scott’s links to more info. Or do an image search. 😎
No clue! But she is beautiful as always. (I read the other comments, so have a name now, but still no clue!)
Poison Ivy is a villain in the 1997 movie Batman and Robin. In the comic books we learn that Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley was a research botanist that was working under an evil fellow (EF — forgot his name). EF injected Dr Isley with a formula that caused plant DNA to merge with her DNA. The result is that she became part plant, and she has control over plants. She also assumed the name Poison Ivy after her metamorphosis. P I has bright red hair and dresses in skin-tight green apparel. Perhaps to add a devilish look, her hair features two bumps on the top of the head that are suggestive of horns.
Per the fount of all knowledge  — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poison_Ivy_%28comics%29 — she first appeared in Batman #181. (June 1966)

I knew it too!! She did a good job. 🙂
Thanks. :tiphat:
I like that she even did the swirls (or whatchamacallits) in her hair.
Red hair. My grandma would have loved her. She had red hair like that too. She always wanted a granddaughter with red hair but never got one.
It would be very hard not love this one–not just for her appearance but especially for her personality and character.
Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley. Nice portrayal, too.
Bingo! And extra points for you.
Ahh is she supposed to poison ivy?
Pretty sure you’re right, Lyd.
To quote the 1959 hit by the Coasters, “You’re gonna need an ocean of calamine lotion.” :laff:
