- A choice.
- Waking up on the green side of the grass.
- Holding your new-born child.
- Being with all your grandchildren. (For now she lives in another state.)
- Being at peace with God and man. (Thanks, Sylvia)
- A trip to the endodontist that ends with no root canal.
That last one happened to me today. I’ve been pain free for a week and neither cold nor tapping elicited feelings of pain or discomfort. So it’s, “Let’s wait and see what happens.” I’m good with that.
What makes you happy.
Sometimes it is hard to “choose” happy when outside stimulus works so hard to destroy it. I’m happy for 16 hours a day….not so happy for those required 8 that earn me the paycheck.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better with the tooth! Tooth pain is the worst–makes your entire body ache.
Here’s my little secret: It took me years to be happy regardless of my inner our surrounding circumstances. For me, the key was finding contentment. After that, happiness flourished.
There are way too many things to write on my ‘what makes me happy’ list. I’d be here all day. 🙂 What makes me most happy is my faith, my family, my good health and my friends.
That’s an excellent list, Rosey.
Happiness is a choice. So why do so few people seem to choose it?
I expect that they are focused on the wrong the thing–themselves. It’s like the story of the fellow who felt sorry for himself because he had no shoes. That ended when he met a man who had no feet.
Hope your day was filled with happiness!
We had a beautiful spring day (finally) in our area. That made me happy.
My days are filled with happiness. (See the first item on my list.)
Spring days are wonderful. We’ve recently had some of those in our neighborhood.
