Midnight Monday ~ Kitty on My Desk

I suppose it’s really my fault that Midnight loves to take repose on my desk.  I’ve only encouraged him to do it with strategically placed objects that allow him to easily get up there.  It’s nice to have my furry buddy with me, blocking my view of the monitor or swatting at the mouse.  However, there are times when he only wants to rest — maybe just have a little cat nap.  I prefer those moments and how I envy him that.  Sometimes.

Midnight rests on my study Bible with his feet against the scanner and his back on the external hard drive.

That hard drive makes a handy pillow for a sleepy kitty.

On the other side, Midnight has a view out the window.  Is he saying, “I (heart) Midnight?  If he isn’t, I am.

  1. Rebecca, He's sure grew some. You may be right about the puma. Into the Word? All I can say is, "He's all over it."

Lin, He keeps getting bigger. I am delighted that we brought him in with us.

Shark, He has shown no signs yet of wanting to preach. Maybe just stretching out on the Bible isn't enough to absorb the contents.

Marilyn, As you say, we don't have the fur. In my case, I have hardly any left.

Pricilla, It is amazing how they can do that. That view gives a whole new meaning to "Bless your heart."

  2. Cats seem to be able to sleep anywhere. It always amazes me.

His little cat butt does look like a heart!

  3. Midnight looks like a very happy kitty. I'm not so sure the hard drive would be that comfy but then I don't have a nice cushion of fur.

  4. Hey, everyone needs a good spiritual cat in their life. Be sure to tell us what sermons he preaches. I'd be afraid he'd claw holes in the pages, though.

  5. He sure got big, Chuck! Midnight is no longer a kitten, but what a beautiful cat he has become. And a good friend. I'm glad you brought him in–aren't you??

  6. Good Monday! 😀

Midnight has mighty meaty haunches there. Whew, you may have a puma on your hands, eh?

Nice study Bible! You could say that Midnight is "getting into the Word"! 😀
