1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
2 for attaining wisdom and discipline;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young-
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance-
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
I apologize that I missed yesterday and the 2 other days. My satellites from both companies have m cut back on my speed.
This is wonderful as always. I really look forward to your picks each Sunday.
I know I fail every single day but there is definitely one thing I do have!
I have always had a strong strong fear of God even as a child. To fear God is not as awful as so many try to make it sound.
It really just means that you recognize his great power and it's best to try your best to listen and heed his word.
Thanks so much for the wonderful share. You have given me some hings to think about!!
Hugs,
Jackie
