Proverbs 5
15 Drink water from your own cistern,
running water from your own well.
running water from your own well.
16 Should your springs overflow in the streets,
your streams of water in the public squares?
your streams of water in the public squares?
17 Let them be yours alone,
never to be shared with strangers.
never to be shared with strangers.
18 May your fountain be blessed,
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be captivated by her love.
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be captivated by her love.
Lovely your Proverbs. They remind the Book of proverbs of the Holy Bible. They might also be a translation. I can'be sure of that though I have composed the Ancient Testament and great part of the New One into classical verses and rhymes, regarding the translation form the Italian original language into English language I'm still working at the First Chapter of the whol work wich is called "The Poem of Creation". 'Hope you find the time to visit my blog. Best greetings Albix
