Some months ago Dawn wrote about her cat, Bella, chewing stereo cable connectors off from the cables. Naive fellow that I am, I thought about how glad I was that Midnight didn’t do that. That’s right! You guessed it. I walked out of the office the other day and found not severed stereo cords but this:
Oh Dawn, I’m so sorry that I thought the Midnight was better than Bella. I walked into the guest room and found this:
Someone had been busy. I looked around a bit and:
I found the cords that had been severed. Before we start blaming Midnight, please consider that I knew better. It other rooms of the house, I had put the cords up where they are out of kitty’s reach. I forgot the guest room.
A couple of months earlier he had chewed on the cords in the office.
I have no excuse. Life can be difficult for folks like me. Midnight doesn’t care. He tolerates us anyway. That is what cats do . . . Isn’t it?

Spounds like a variety of southern sass closely related to fllip, mslip, allip, etc.
Hmmm. We have no mini-blinds untouched here. Perhaps if we are sure we'll never have another kitty…
Cats are always going after the snakes they find. Doesn't matter where the snakes are….
There's talk of a Cat Chewing Rehab coming soon… lol…. Midnight is a secretive chewer, oh no!
Livvy (thus far) doesn't chew things to bits, but she does munch the corners of boxes and other things. It's rather funny to watch her do it.
I have heard that Siamese like to "steal" things and hide them, but I haven't discovered anything missing yet.
P.S. The captcha for this comment is "galip." Hmm…. got any ideas about that one, Chuck?
I needed this this morning, Kitty Man, after a bout with a very blockheaded dog. Pets bring the whole gamut of emotions to our lives.
Well, those were "evil" cords and they deserved what they got. Sheesh, Chuck. Even I see that!
