About Chuck
I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.
cool, you can see the change as an art and makes a wonderful picture
Wow, you can call a star by its name! I can't differentiate them at all.
Cool! We don't see a lot of stars here because of the city lights. 🙁
Pricilla, That's why the photos. I love rural life, especially on a cloudless night. So much to see in the sky.
Dawn, Isn't it!
Rita, Thanks. That's very kind of you.
Shutterbug, It must be very difficult to do from near your home with all the city lights. It's so much easier out here in the country.
Chuck, fantastic! I am constantly trying to get the moon and so far, nada. You did an excellent job. These photos are stunning.
Hi Chuck,
I have passed a blog award to you today. Don't feel pressured to do anything with it, but please come see it. I enjoy my visits here.
ahhh… now that is lovely 🙂
Venus is startlingly bright in these parts right now.
One thing about living in the middle of nowhere – the nights sky is amazing.
Mom, Thanks. I spent over an hour taking shots.
Auntie E, I'm so glad that enjoy them.
Shark, Good eye Shark. As the moon set, I zoomed in to keep the horizon in the shots.
Jo, Coming from you, that is high praise. I am humbled. All I had to do is step out onto the front deck to capture these images. I had the tripod and camera set to go.
You have a great view of the sky where you live.
Awesome shots! I am rarely out and able to capture anything like this in the evenings!
Very cool! You can see that the moon has moved a little each time you took the picture.
What lovely shots.
Wow- you have a very good eye. Those are beautiful shots with great perspective.
