About Chuck
I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.
Yep, they're dead alright, but they're still quite stately aren't they?

Those are something Chuck! I hope the trees are okey now after the winter season?
Oh no! what happened to them?? My redbud is looking bad these days too–I hope I don't lose it.
It does make for a striking photograph, but it is still sad to see the trees die. Especially if you see it happening over time.
We just killed one on purpose – its roots were growing into our leach bed. My husband cut around it with his chain saw but didn't cut it all the way down. Now I'm wondering what happens when we get a good stiff wind.
Weather it is suppose to happen or not it is still a sad site.
BK, I believe this is normal. Poplars grow very quickly and have a relatively short life span.
Vanilla, Thanks. Me too.
I'm sorry. Great photography, but I hate when trees die.
What happened? Is it usually like this or is it due to the change in weather?
