About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

    • I wanted to go outside with the camera for an hour seeking shots and angles that would exploit the conditions. Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to work well on crutches.

    • It is every bit of that cold. So pour a cup of hot joe and pull the comforter up to your armpits as you settle back in the recliner. The great outdoors will take care of the great outdoors while you “settle.”

At least that’s my plan, and it’s working well for me. :yea:

  1. What a beautiful view with the hoar frost! We get that here too in the Netherlands early in the morning – untouched snow has something innocent and pure. And you get enough snow up there in Michigan! 🙂

  2. The snow is pretty in the pics. I’m about to head out and see what ours is like here this morning…I hope I don’t have to shovel. :surrender:
