About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

    • I think her life before coming here was not all that good. I chose her because it was obvious she needed a home where she would receive tender an patient love. She has responded well, albeit slowly to me. :hkitty:

  1. Ah, feels so good!

Do you have a furminator? It’s a special comb that removes the underlayer of fur. Hobbes LOVES that thing! I have to comb him outside though–it looks as though a coyote got someone for all the fur that is taken off that cat. He doesn’t shed for days after using that thing on him.

    • She loves it. We use a product that looks like a regular hair brush, which removes loose hair that sticks up. That furminator looks like it would do a better job. We’ll have to check it out. Maybe add one to the next Amazon order. :hkitty: Thanks.
