Spring Has Sprung

Hey Lin, my snowdrops are finally up.  I must confess that I suffer from envy every spring when you post pictures of your snowdrops weeks before mine blossom.

They waited long enough to appear this year.  Unfortunately, looks like the last crocus that we had didn’t make it through the winter.

Next on the schedule are the daffodils.  Buds are forming and much promise is given.

  1. Hooray!

Well, I think my snowdrops sorta cheat. They are next to the house and are in the warm sunshine. I think that combination makes them come up earlier than they probably should. They do make you smile, don’t they?

I read in the comments that Sylvia has a sling. Please tell her that I hope she is okay and heals quickly.

    • I think you’ve mentioned the advantage your snowdrops have. Mine grow on the west side of our barn and near a large sycamore tree. It’s one of the last areas on our land to lose the frost. Yes, snowdrops make smile and feel good inside.

Sylvia thanks you for your well wishes. She also said she has a sling, but unlike David she doesn’t have five smooth stones. :haha:
