Project Finished

The office windows now have the blinds installed.  That was the final step.

Step two was to replace the [old] valences over the windows.

The final view looks like this.

Perhaps it’s the strong back light.  The walls have a more orange hue.

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

    • Thanks, Rosey. The floor plan designates it as a bedroom. Laminate flooring, instead of carpet, turned it into the perfect office space for us.

    • Thank you, Rainfield. We’ve put a lot of work into this office. I hope you don’t mind that we don’t have mushrooms. :beam:

  1. What a neat and artistic looking office. The window treatment turned out really great. Maybe you have inspired me to update some of my windows !! Also, I wanted to mention that the silhouette picture of Sylvia and the Kitty is priceless ! Love it.

    • Thanks, Grace. That is Sylvia’s design. It is my favorite (decor-wise) room in the house. That image of Sylvia and Midnight is one of my favorites.

  2. Nice touch! We call our’s the “granny room” with wall shelves covered with our generations of pictures back as far as we have been able to reach.

    • I gave her the choice. She chose that location. I do have a nice view out the windows. Down the driveway to the road on the right. Over my left shoulder the rear door, garage and barn. :cloud9:
