About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. Lilies are such an exotic and exciting flower to me. These are all magnificent, Chuck, Thanks so much for sharing them.

  2. Hahaha! I was reading Sharky's comment and I was all confused!! 🙂

I ended up tearing my lilies out in a mad rampage to remove all plants that needed deadheading. I love lilies though and I sorta miss mine.

  3. Beautiful flower photos! You always have gorgeous flower photos.

My lilies are not blooming here yet. It's odd, but all my flowers and shrubs bloom a good 3 weeks after all my neighbors' flowers bloom. Can;t figure out why. I must be in some kind of micro-climate here. I am surrounded by parking lots, so maybe that's it. Have a good week. Any cooler out your way yet?
