E-Mail Diary ~ Snow Daze

I recently received the following from my friend Roy.  He has a great sense of humor.

I just got off the phone with a friend from Northern Michigan.

She said that since early this morning the snow has gotten nearly waist high and is still falling.  The temperature is dropping below zero and the north wind is increasing.  Her Husband has done nothing but look through the kitchen window all day.  She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let him in.

Here’s hoping your week is going well.  Tip for the Day:  Always carry your house key on your person.

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. Love it! Sadly, with a few warm days, we are way below waist deep, but Om might balk at being kept outside anyway.

  2. I was forever locking myself out when I went down for chores. The Governor finally took pity on me and installed an electronic keypad for the garage door.

  3. HAHAHAH!!! Gotta tell the husband that one! He may cry a little, though. 🙁 It's been a loooong winter!

Upstate NY is usually one of the snowiest in the country, as far as I have heard. Syracuse, smack dab in the middle, wins the state's "Golden Snowball" award almost every year for all the snow it gets there. I think we're over 200 inches so far this season?
