Rain and warmer weather dominates the forecast. I do believe that is Spring in the air.
I keep my eyes open for the signs. Lately, I’ve been rewarded.
Sylvia Update
It was a week ago today that Sylvia had a mishap on roller skates. Since I brought her home from the ER, she has had her arm in a plaster splint–they tell us it is not a cast. I haven’t bothered to research that one. A sling helps her support the arm, and when she sits a pillow provides a handy support.
She is not in pain. What she suffers from most is frustration at the limitations that are imposed upon her.
We’ve made arrangements for some help with some of the household chores. (I was having trouble keeping up with them.) That is working out very well.
Sylvia visits our primary care physician tomorrow. Perhaps we’ll learn more then.
I’m sure she is just having fits at the imposed limitations. Wow, my daffs are just coming up.
Let’s just say say she is not a happy camper. All things considered, she’s doing well and accepting it with grace. She does say that it’s not easy.
They don’t like to use casts too much anymore because then it takes physical therapy to get things moving again. They much prefer soft casts that can be removed, although you do feel more vulnerable with those.
Here’s hoping that she’s all healed by the time you have to plant the garden.
Thanks for the explanation, Lin. She should be healed by planting time, which be just a bit later than normal this year.
We’ve def. got signs of Spring here going on too. 🙂 Glad you got some help for around the house while the Mrs. is healing back up. 🙂
After the bitter winter, spring is most welcome.
