I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.
That be a feast for the bees. Three different insects sharing the bounty.
It sure was a feast for bees. I saw other visitors–like the shy little spider that disappeared when ever they camera moved into position to capture an image. 😀 It is enjoyable to watch the “customers” appear and go about their respective rounds.
My sedum is LOADED this time of year with all sorts of flying things. Needless to say, the frogs hang close to the sedum as well. YUM!
It sure is attractive. 😉 (The sedum, that is.)
each different! Honeybee, wasp, and (not sure). Food for the flying beasties and honey for perhaps other critters too.
Isn’t the third one what we’ve called bumble bees? :dontknow: You know more about that than I do. It has surprised me that I haven’t seen much activity from these creatures around the lavender plants.
