I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

We're having an odd winter too. Freezing temps one day and raining the next.

I can always tell what our weather will be like in 3 days after reading your blog… it always blows east and we must be right on the same latitude.

Wow, that was some snow fall! We had something similar and were snowed in for 3 days! Hope the carpal tunnel is easing a little – I blame the mouse!!!
