I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.
That second one looks like something for a fantasy novel.
The light from the crescent moon was amazing as it shone on the wispy clouds. Items in the foreground have the surreal light of a sodium vapor lamp illuminating them. I was particularly pleased by the effect that was thus created.
The skies are so beautiful out in the middle of nowhere aren’t they?
They sure are. Just one more reason I love living here. 🙂

Indeed! Perhaps the alternative has personal implications that might be unsettling for some?
