I love spring flowers. Don’t you? I recently saw these growing on the lawn.
Not too far away (just a few steps) I also saw these.
While I was looking for signs of life a pair turkey vultures were searching for something else.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with me yesterday as I carried the trash down to the side of the road. I actually saw a pileated woodpecker for the first time in my life.
Happy for you that you spotted a pileated woodpecker. Now that is a bird!
Perhaps being delicate is an aspect of beauty.
That’s quite true.
So is those mushrooms. :yea:
Spotting a Pileated, first or hundredth, is exciting. The are a fabulous bird and don’t particularly like “company”. If they decide to “hammer out” a home near you, there will be a rather large pile of “hammer dust” at the base of the tree. :woot:
You speak the truth, Ed. I’ve heard other reports, but it’s even better to see him with my own eyes.
Beautiful flowers. They look so delicate.
Perhaps being delicate is an aspect of beauty? You’ve got me thinking . . .
