Saturday Song ~ Wilson Phillips

I was fascinated by Wilson Phillips the first time I heard them sing. The harmony and the blend of their voices are wonderful. They are here by special request today.

Entrecard has announced a change to go into effect on Monday 9/28. I do not support the way the change is being implemented. They have left me, and the previous song is for the corporate entity — not the bloggers. I found so many of you through Entrecard and you have been wonderful. So the following is also only for the corporate entity — not for you. I do extend my thanks and ask you to keep visiting.

Even though my relationship with Entrecard is ending, I will still be here on this same dirt road. It has been a wonderful run with Entrecard, and I’d do it again.

I’ll tell you more about it on Monday as I participate in “I Did It! – Monday.” Do come back. Meanwhile, check out the “I Did It!” meme.

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. I will be off EC in a few days too, but I will continue to wonder this way…EC may just regret its "cut throat" decision some day.

  2. Hi now we can opt out for 50$ a year or 4,17$ a month from the sponsored ad program… and the sponsored ad program is postponed until 5th October… They seem to listen to some members now!

  3. Vanilla,
I love the car too, but the music more than that.

    Lin,
I will keep you informed about life after Entrecard my friend.

Hang in there if you can.

    Colleen,
I noticed your widget went missing today. I know you've been busy, but you're still posting good stuff.

    Ratty,
Thanks. I look forward to your visits here, and even more to my visits to The Everyday Adventurer.

    Shinade,
That's one of the drawbacks of satellite. I was on that until I found terrestrial wireless.

Nice plug for Adgitize. I was signed up before, and may go back in a couple of weeks. First a bit of a breather.

  4. As always I can't listen to the video because of my satellite.

But, I know it has to be wonderful. I will always visit you Chuck no worries from me.

Hey listen I just finalized with adgetize and I love it.

You earn credits for page views as an affiliate and you earn credits for your drops.

It cost $14 up front. But, I have talked to others and if you do about 70 to 100 drops a day you will earn almost if not all of that money back.

Plus as an affiliate if anyone clicks through on your site and signs up you earn $5 I think, I am not sure about that amount, but, I think it is $5.

And guess what? You can reject ads!! I hope you hop over and check it out through my site.

I just added the code today and already have some wonderful blogs running!!

    Happy day!!:-)

  5. I'll still be here with you. I'm still keeping Entrecard, but they're moving closer to me dumping them. I said somewhere else that I use them a little differently than most people, that's why I still keep them around. Their usefulness is becoming less with every move they make.

  6. I shall visit you as often as I can, as always….
I too am no longer on EC.
I have not been there lately as it freeze everytime I go to it… I time restraints have kept me from the blogs, so if something has to go, it is EC first….
    Have a Wonderful weekend….

  7. I'm wobbling on that fence, Chuck. Let me know how it is on the other side. I'm so afraid to disappear into the corn, like in "Field of Dreams".

  8. Like the car. The music is pretty, too.

Since I've never participated in EC, I have found it interesting this week to read the assessments and comments of the participants. Seems a lot of people are leaving.

I hold admiration for people who stand for their principles.
