I wanted to share a post with you. This is the one I chose:

When we first moved here, over thirteen years ago, one neighbor asked me if Sylvia and I were crazy. He thought we must be for wanting to retire to a place like this. He may be right, but I don’t think so. Do you?

I think you are smart for retiring away from the madness. Joe and I hope to do the same. We’d like to go somewhere less crazy (and cheaper) than Chicago. We love the city, but not the high taxes and living so close to our neighbors. I LOVE your choice!

I envy the view. I miss our country home at times, but I know we are in the right place for now. Enjoy cuz !

I think you and Sylvia are very nice. As far as sanity vouching for anyone who moves to the north (myself included), I refuse to comment based on my own strong opinions, which could severely skew the facts. :laff: You seem happy though, and that’s all that matters anyway. :cloud9:
We might have gone some place warmer, but most of our family lives here and it is our native state. We do enjoy the elbow room. ❗ :cloud9:
