Sunday in Proverbs

Proverbs, Chapter 6

9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
 10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest-

11 and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man.

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. We have to be up and doing. This proverb reminds me of the Longfellow poem " A Psalm Of Life" I love visiting for my weekly proverbs.
