In the stable’s silence, a child is born. Prophets had foretold this, but little did they realize how humble his arrival would be.
An angel appeared (look on wreath) to shepherds, who were tending their flocks. Thus the news was first announced to the lowliest of people.
It’s looking busier (good). The angel up high is great. Mine look stupid up high because they have bases to make them stand. I usually put them on pedestals of some sort. Hey… thanks for the card, and your effort to both write something!
Hooray!
I love this, Chuck. It’s a tale that never gets old. (and I like the angel on the wreath)
It would be nice if the angel were a bit more visible. I may use Willow Tree angels next year.
“And the Word became made flesh and dwelt among us, . . .” Such a beautiful story being depicted with ceramic figures!
I enjoy displaying the story as a series of interrelated scenes and not just a single gathering of the cast–as in a curtain call.
Now, it’s really getting exciting !! It’s motivating me to get my set of the manger scene that I made in the 1970″s from upstairs and set it up on the my coffee table !! This is the first year that it is still upstairs !! Hope that we can still get it down here !!!!
Hope that works well for you, Grace.
