What Do You Do When the Weather Is Blah?

I try to capture that BLAH feeling in a photo.  Like this:

That sums up the way I’ve been feeling lately on the physical level.

But look there is light and it illuminates the sky . . . and the earth.  That’s not gloom you see.  That is hope.  Shining hope that makes things bright in the night.

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

    • Doing fine. Thank you, Lin. Pain is a frequent companion, but my spirit does not feel that pain–only my body.

Body = :rain: Spirit = :yea:

  1. Look at you– trying to get a picture of “blah” and create art instead. May you be all perky again soonest.

  2. Before I read your words I was thinking that that light makes the picture look really good. It seems like just the thing to focus the eyes on.

  3. I agree completely! I just found your blog last week. It is wonderful to read. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Sylvia from Kelly and me

    • Cold and wet don’t agree with this arthritic body. Fortunately, that is only a physical condition. The spirit is free, unencumbered by such pains and woes.
