Working on the Problem

This is how it is supposed to work

Thanks to those who have reported the slow download times for this blog.  I’m zeroing in on the cause and will work with my hosting company to fix it.  In the interim, please open this in one tab of your browser and visit some of our other friends in another.

This morning, Sylvia left for a week at her dad’s.  Before she left we were shredding cabbage and preparing it for the freezer.  The kitchen was a mess.  I was developing a nasty sinus headache.  When Sylvia left, the kitchen was spotless.  I told her that she had left me no excuse if she came home and found it messy. ❗

I’ve been working on an online project with our son in Omaha.  It has turned into an all-day affair.  That’s mostly my fault. :dunce:

I need a nap. :beam:

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

    • I consider myself “On Notice” and “Under Orders.” I must see to it that Sylvia comes home to a clean kitchen and a tidy house.

  1. I already came up with that solution–opening up another tab while I waited. You are worth the wait, my friend.

Don’t mess up that kitchen! :nono:

    • I’m glad that you feel that way. 🙂

Won’t it be good enough if I clean it up so that it’s shinning when she gets back home? Or does that show too much independence? ❓
