About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. I love these! Closeups of bugs are so fun. This gives us a glimpse into a world that seems beautifully alien.

  2. The photograph of the bee on the flower (bottom shot) is really good. You can see a nice glint of colour off her wings.

  3. Everybody is doing bugs today! And to think I took some of those shots yesterday too. Hmmm…are the bugs more active or are we just noticing?

  4. great shots! sometimes you can take a shot of a bug and not know it till later!! lol

  5. Oh wow, these are incredible photos. Those bugs are so detailed, it's amazing. These photos actually make me appreciate bugs 😀

  6. These are great pictures. I like to photograph bugs, too. The helix and the bee enlargement is quite spectacular!
