Caption Contest

Here’s your chance for fame and fortune, and all you have to do is supply a caption for the above photo.  Yours could be the fleeting fame of a Secondary Roads award winner.  And you might be fortunate enough to be the next to win the greatly coveted Tommy Toe Award.

Just leave a comment here with your caption.  I’ll announce the winners on Friday.  Multiple entries are accepted.  Give it a try.  What do you have to lose?

About Chuck

I am retired after a career in electronics and in publishing. Today, my wife of 50+ years, Sylvia, and I live in a house on a hill beside a dirt road in rural west Michigan. We enjoy living in this country environment where livestock and wild life out number the human population.

  1. "Stephie, why are they laughing?"

"Jane, that lady looks like Miss Crump!"

"Uncle Billy told me stories about those microphones…"

    "This wasn't in my contract…"

"Do I have to bite that thing and throw my hand out like the lady on TV?"

That's what I thought when I saw it!

  2. What was my line again?

    Everybody's looking at me!

I'm beginning to not feel as sure of myself anymore…

    Ok, so those weren't great… 🙂

  3. An angel of the Lord appeared beside her, and the glory of the microphone shone around her, and she was terrified. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people. Today in the town of Los Angeles a singing sensation will be discovered. Yes, you could be the next American Idol!"
