For me, clarity does not come in the morning. For me, most mornings are more like this.
A few minutes earlier nothing was visible beyond the first line of trees. Even they were not clear, being obscured by the fog. Cold earth with a snow coverlet and warm air provide the conditions to form such down-to-earth clouds.
It’s on mornings like this when I don’t have to rise early and commute through heavy traffic to reach a job, that I most enjoy my life. Our past sacrifices are paying off with interest.
I like this foggy morning.
My camera always find itself very “talkative” by then.
It was interesting, but the fog was quickly dissipating by the time I had the camera ready.
I’m a Queen of Foggy Mornings. My head is always full of sand. But I’m slowly getting caught up with blogs.
Long live the Queen! I use my foggy mornings to do my Web surfing. The important stuff I do in the early afternoon.
Color me envious. Oh, how I would have loved to crawl back into bed and hide under the covers for another hour or so of sleep. Then, to pad softly into the kitchen to brew my Casi Cielo…..yum.
I miss my stay-at-home days…now more than ever. Work and careers are highly overrated. Well…except for when you need the paycheck for tuition and heat and food and stuff.
I understand, Lin. Your day will come.
My mornings are “foggy,” also – at least until after coffee.
Now that I can relate to, Vee. I’m surprised at how many are like us. :whaa:
We had that fog this morning too. I was worried about hubby driving in it, he leaves so early.
It’s not safe to drive in that stuff, but a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do. I’m glad he made it through okay.
Mt. Tipton, the highway dep’t salt dome, is a block and a half from our kitchen window, window. But at 9:30 this morning when I looked out, no mountain. No anything past the perimeter of the property. Except for the fog. Happy for you that you are now collecting the interest on that earlier investment!
Those payments are like a miracle to me. I’ve seen this quote in different words, but this may be the best:
“Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.” ― Albert Einstein
